Scope: This standard specifies the strength and tightness test requirements, test conditions, test procedures and evaluation of test results for marine auxiliary boilers and pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as boilers and pressure vessels). This standard applies to boilers whose design pressure is not greater than 2.5MPa and whose medium is water and saturated steam; pressure vessels of water or air whose design pressure is not greater than 6.4MPa and whose medium temperature is not higher than 150°C.
