Scope: This standard specifies the strength and tightness test requirements, test procedures and test result evaluation of marine boilers and pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as boilers and pressure vessels) and their pressure parts and accessories. This standard applies to boilers whose design pressure is not greater than 9.8MPa and whose medium is water and steam; pressure vessels whose design pressure is not greater than 6.4MPa and whose medium is water or air.
