Scope

This standard specifies the acceptance rules, marking and packaging of electric fittings. This standard applies to power fittings (hereinafter referred to as fittings) used for overhead power lines with rated voltage lo kV and above, substations and power distribution devices in power plants. Similar fittings used for low-voltage distribution network can refer to this standard. For metal fittings used in severe corrosion, dirty environment, high altitude area, alpine area and other conditions, the relevant provisions of other standards should still be met.
