Scope

This standard specifies the geometric, optical, transmission characteristics, mechanical and environmental performance requirements of B2 type dispersion-shifted single-mode fiber in GB/T 15972.1. The zero dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is around 1550nm, and the best working wavelength is between 1550nm and 1600nm. The single-mode fiber specified in this standard is suitable for communication networks and other communication equipment.
