Scope: This chapter in GB 13140.1-1997 applies after changing paragraph 3 to read as follows. This standard applies to: - junction boxes (terminating and/or tapping) with fixed (integral or built-in) terminals or connecting devices; - terminal boxes intended to be used with fixed terminals or connecting devices (terminating and/or tap) junction boxes; ——(termination and/or tap) junction boxes intended to be used in conjunction with floating terminals or connecting devices; This standard does not apply to: ——Household or similar purposes within the scope of GB 17466 Mounting boxes or enclosures for electrical accessories for fixed electrical installations: - junction boxes for the passage of cables in conduit systems only. The term "connecting boxes" (junction box) in this standard (English) is hereinafter referred to as "boxes" for short, and (Chinese) is collectively referred to as "junction box".
