- Scope
- This standard specifies the safety requirements for lamps used for medical treatment and examination in clinics and medical care in hospitals and rehabilitation buildings. The lamps use tungsten filament lamps, fluorescent lamps and other gas discharge lamps as light sources, and the power supply voltage does not exceed 1000V. This standard does not apply to medical electrical equipment containing light sources specified in 2.2.15 of GB 9706.1.
