- Part 1 of this standard specifies the general requirements for electrical safety measurement and monitoring test equipment used in low-voltage power distribution systems with nominal voltages below AC 1000V and DC 1500V. Part 1 of this standard applies to measuring equipment for every measuring task when the measuring equipment or measuring device includes the measuring tasks of all metrology and measuring equipment covered by the GB/T 18216 series of standards. NOTE: The term "measuring equipment" is hereafter used to define "testing, measuring and monitoring equipment".
