Scope: This standard specifies large hexagon head bolts for bolted structures with thread specifications M12-M36, short thread length, performance grades 8.8 and 10.9, and product grade C. If other technical requirements are required, they should be selected from current standards (such as GB/T 196, GB/T 197 and GB/T 3098.1). The bolts specified in this standard are matched with appropriate nuts (such as GB/T 18230.3 or GB/T 18230.4), which can make the connection pair have a high level of resistance to thread stripping caused by overtightening. 8.8sU and 10.9sU bolts can be adopted by agreement between the supplier and the purchaser. The bolt must match the 6H hot-dip galvanized nut, and the connection pair may cause the thread to trip due to overtightening.
