Scope

This standard, combined with GB/T 19001-1994, specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production and, where relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products. This standard applies to suppliers and subcontractors "on site" who supply parts for the production and maintenance of: a) parts or materials, or b) heat treatment, painting, plating, or other final processing services, or c) other services specified by the customer. product. Note: However, for "external sites" such as design centers and companies that form part of the on-site audit, they cannot independently obtain certification to this standard. This standard is also applicable to the entire automotive supply chain.
