Scope: This standard provides guidance for the application of quality management in projects. This International Standard is applicable to projects of varying complexity, size, and duration in different environments, regardless of the type of product or process involved. However, in order to apply to a particular project, it may be necessary to make some deletions to this standard. This International Standard is not a guide to "project management" per se, but a guide to quality in the project management process. Refer to GB/T 19004-2000 for process quality guidelines and "process method" guidelines related to project products. This standard is a guidance document and is not intended for certification purposes.
