Scope: This standard specifies two sampling methods for chemical staple fibers. Among them, the off-machine product sampling method is applicable to the quality inspection of the manufacturer; the package sampling method is applicable to delivery, re-inspection and arbitration inspections. This standard applies to the production of organic synthetic polymers or the conversion of natural polymers, and also includes sampling of loose fibers, tows and tops produced from inorganic substances, such as: polyester, acrylic, cotton, polypropylene, viscose, modal , Lyocell, acetate and carbon fiber etc.
