Scope

This standard stipulates the safety technical requirements in the design, construction and mining of metal mines, as well as the management and monitoring of occupational hazards and the health monitoring requirements of operators. This standard applies to the design, construction and mining of metal and nonmetal mines. This standard does not apply to the mining of coal mines, coal-measure pyrite ore and other mineral deposits that coexist with coal. This standard also does not apply to the exploitation of liquid or gaseous mineral deposits such as oil, natural gas, and mineral water.
