Scope
This standard specifies the grade, size, shape and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of hot bimetallic strips (hereinafter referred to as strips). This standard is applicable to the production of thermal bimetallic strips for heat-sensitive elements in temperature control, temperature compensation and temperature indicating devices.
