Scope

This standard specifies a test method for determining the ability of metal sheets and strips with a thickness of 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm and a width equal to or greater than 90 mm to withstand plastic deformation during drawing forming. For thin plates and thin strips that are thicker or only narrow samples can be taken, a die with a specified size should be used, and the results should be indicated with the following, see Table 1.
