Scope

This standard specifies the following extensions on the basis of GB/T 17191.3: (1) Lower sampling frequency; (2) Coding expression and decoding method of multi-channel and multi-lingual high-quality audio signals. The input of the encoder and the output of the decoder are compatible with the PCM standard. This standard applies to broadcast, transmission and storage media.
