Scope

This part of GB/T 3048 specifies the terms and definitions of partial discharge tests, test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, precautions, calibration of test equipment and test records. This test method is applicable to the measurement of partial discharge of extruded insulation power cables of different lengths, that is, to measure the discharge of the cable under the specified voltage and given sensitivity or to check whether the discharge exceeds the specified value. For general techniques on partial discharge measurements refer to IEC 60270:1981. This section should be used together with GB/T 3048.l.
