Scope

This part of GB/T 3048 specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and evaluation, precautions and test records related to the impulse voltage test of cables and accessories. This part is applicable to the impulse voltage test of various types of power cables and their accessories with the highest rated voltage U_m of 1kV and above. This section should be used together with GB/T 3048.1.
