Scope

This standard specifies an undyed silk adjacent fabric suitable for assessing staining in color fastness tests. The staining properties of the silk interfacing fabric to be tested shall be assessed against a standard silk interfacing fabric, using a piece of silk-dyed reference fabric and a piece of cotton-dyed reference fabric, all of which shall be obtained from specified suppliers.
