This standard applies to the determination of carbon and sulfur content in rare earth metals and their oxides. The measurement range: carbon, 0.005% to 1.00%; sulfur, 0.005% to 0.100%. Refer to this method for the determination of the content of carbon and sulfur in metal thulium, metal ytterbium and metal lutetium.
