GB/T 18237.4-2003 Information technology--Open systems interconnection--Generic upper layers security Part 4: Protecting transfer syntax specification (English Version)
1.1 GB/T 18237 defines a set of common facilities to help provide security services in OSI applications. They include: a) a set of notation tools that support specification of protection requirements for select fields in abstract syntax specifications, and support security exchange and security transformation specifications; b) service definition, protocol specification for Application Service Elements (ASE) and the PICS proforma, which support the provision of security services within the application layer of OSI; c) the specification of the security transfer syntax and the PICS proforma, which are associated with the presentation layer supporting security services in the application layer. 1.2 This part of GB/T 18237 defines the protection transfer syntax, which is related to the presentation layer used to support the security service in the application layer.
