Scope
1.1 This standard applies to radio-frequency conducted and radiated disturbances from appliances whose main function is performed by motors, switching or regulating devices, except for radio-frequency energy which is intentionally generated or used for lighting. These appliances include: household appliances, power tools, regulating controls using semiconductor devices, electric motor-driven electrotherapy equipment, electric/electronic toys, vending machines, and movie or slide projectors. Included within the scope of this standard are: - individual parts of the above-mentioned equipment, such as electric motors, switching devices such as (power or protection) relays, if not mentioned in this standard, there is no emission requirement for these individual parts. For those devices that cannot be tested at the test site, this part has no launch requirements for the time being, and the requirements for on-site testing are under consideration. Excluded from the scope of this standard are: - equipment for which all emission requirements in the radio frequency range are clearly stated in other national standards; - regulating controllers and belt Equipment with such a regulating controller; - a power supply for separate use. 1.2 The frequency range covered is 9kHz~400GHz. 1.3 Multifunctional devices that are applicable to different clauses of this standard and/or other standards should meet the requirements of each clause/standard when using relevant functions; see 7.2.1 for details. 1.4 The limits in this standard are determined on a probabilistic basis which enables an economically reasonable level of disturbance suppression while still achieving adequate radio frequency protection. In special cases, radio frequency interference may occur even if the limit values are complied with. Additional measures may be required in this case. 1.5 The effects of electromagnetic phenomena related to the safety performance of the appliance are not included in the scope of this standard
