- This standard specifies the principle, test solution, sample, test procedure, result calculation, reproducibility and test report of the test method for the quality of galvanized coating per unit area of steel products. The galvanized layer mentioned in this standard includes pure zinc layer and zinc alloy layer. This standard applies to steel products whose area can be easily determined by hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing, excluding galvanized steel wire.
