Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements and inspection methods for the safety design of measuring relays and protective devices. This standard applies to newly developed and designed measuring relays and protective devices, as well as the complete protective equipment (hereinafter referred to as the product) constituted by them. This standard does not apply to products under special environmental conditions.
