Scope

This part specifies the determination of sulfur content in ferrochromium and silicon-chromium alloys by infrared absorption method and combustion neutralization titration method. This part is applicable to the determination of sulfur content in ferrochromium and silicon-chromium alloys. The determination range (mass fraction): 0.0050% to 0.070%. The determination range (mass fraction) of the combustion neutralization titration method is 0.0050% to 0.120%.
