Scope: This standard specifies the dimensions and marking examples of straight shank machine reamers with inclination blades. This standard applies to machine reamers with high-speed steel belt blades and straight shanks with diameters greater than 5.3 mm to 20 mm. This standard specifies only metric dimensions, and only metric dimensions are recommended in the future. This standard lists two tables, one is the preferred size and other corresponding sizes; the other is the size of the diameter segment. Tolerances are also specified for reamer length, cutting portion diameter, and shank diameter for straight shanks.
