- Scope
- This standard specifies the test methods for the tensile properties of chemical filaments such as polyester (polyester), polyamide (nylon), polypropylene (polypropylene), and cellulose fibers. This standard applies to chemical fiber filaments (pre-oriented yarns, drawn yarns, textured yarns, etc.). The chemical fiber filaments extracted from the fabric can be used as reference. This standard does not apply to filaments whose elongation is greater than 0.5% when the tension increases from 0.05cN/dtex to 0.1cN/dtex.
