This standard specifies the technical requirements for double-pitch precision roller strips and associated sprockets for mechanical power transmission and conveying, including dimensions, tolerances, length measurements, pre-tension and minimum tensile strength. The double-pitch chain is derived from the short-pitch precision roller chain for transmission in GB/T 1243, the pitch is twice as long, and the other interchangeable dimensions are the same. Chains specified in this standard are used where the transmitted power and speed are relatively lower than those of the basic chain from which it is derived. The application range of sprocket teeth specified in this standard is from 5 to 75 teeth (including intermediate values, from 5.5 to 74.5). Preferred numbers of teeth are: 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 19, 27, 38 and 57.
