Scope

This part of GB/T 2828 specifies the general batch skip sampling procedure for counting acceptance inspection. The purpose of these procedures is to provide a means of reducing the amount of inspection required for high quality products submitted by suppliers with satisfactory quality assurance systems and effective quality controls. The reduction in the amount of inspection is achieved by immediately determining, with a defined probability, whether a lot submitted for inspection can be accepted without inspection. These procedures are extended to the random sampling of batches based on the principle of random sampling of sample units in GB/T 2828.1. The batch skip sampling procedure stipulated in this part of GB/T 2828 is applicable to (but not limited to) the following inspections: final products, such as complete machines or components; components and raw materials; work in progress.
