- This standard specifies the test methods for the color fastness to rubbing and staining of various textiles. This standard applies to dyed or printed yarns, fabrics and textile products made of various fibers, including textile carpets and other pile fabrics. Two experiments can be done for each sample, one using a dry rubbing cloth and the other using a wet rubbing cloth.
