Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and storage in packing boxes of marine low-pressure external thread bronze globe valves (hereinafter referred to as globe valves). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of globe valves for seawater, fresh water, fuel oil, lubricating oil and steam with a temperature not higher than 250°C.
