Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of air coolers and air heaters (referred to as air heat exchangers). This standard applies to forced-flow air heat exchangers used for cooling or heating with water, ethylene glycol solution, and steam as the medium.
