This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system for an organization that: a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; b) through the effective application of the system, including continual improvement of the system Effective application of processes and ensuring customer satisfaction. All requirements specified in this standard are generic and intended to be applicable to organizations of all types, sizes and offering different products. Where any requirement of this standard is not applicable due to the nature of the organization and its products, exclusions may be considered. If cut. Conformity to this standard cannot be claimed unless it is limited to the requirements of Clause 7 of this standard and such exclusions do not affect the organization's ability or responsibility to provide product that meets customer requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
