This part of GB/T 8897 specifies the requirements for the electrochemical system, size, nomenclature, extreme structure, marking, inspection method, performance, safety and environment of primary batteries. The purpose of developing this part is to ensure that batteries produced by different manufacturers have standardized shape, fit and function, and can be interchanged.
