Scope: This standard specifies 5 methods for measuring the ozone resistance of the outer coating of the hose. — Method 1: for hoses with an inner diameter of 25 mm or less, use the hose for the test; — Method 2: for hoses with an inner diameter greater than 25 mm, use samples cut from the hose wall for the test; — method 3: Applicable to hoses with an inner diameter greater than 25 mm, the test is carried out with samples cut from the outer coating of the hose; - Method 4: Applicable to all specifications of hoses, the test is carried out with the hose; - Method 5: Applicable to All sizes of hoses, for all sizes of hoses, the test is carried out on expandable hoses, e.g. hoses with fabric reinforcement.
