Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of motor diesel oil extracted from petroleum or added with additives. This standard does not involve products containing biodiesel blending components, and relevant standards and regulations shall be implemented for products containing biodiesel blending components. The products covered by this standard are applicable to compression ignition diesel engine vehicles. However, the three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks specified in GB 19756 may not be included. Diesel oil for vehicles that meets the requirements of this standard can meet the national Phase III emission requirements for motor vehicle pollutants.
