- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements and test methods, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, safety and standard implementation of diesel for vehicles. This standard is applicable to automotive diesel oil produced from petroleum or added with performance-improving additives used in compression ignition engine vehicles. This standard does not apply to vehicle diesel fuel with biodiesel as a blending component.
