Scope

This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of electrophoretic painted aluminum alloy building profiles. This part applies to the aluminum alloy hot-extruded profiles (hereinafter referred to as electrophoretic profiles) that are used in the construction industry and whose surface is compounded with anodic oxidation and electrophoretic paint (water-soluble varnish). Hot extruded pipes with the same purpose and surface treatment can also refer to this part. Aluminum alloy hot-extruded profiles with the same surface treatment method used in other industries can also refer to this part.
