- This standard specifies the test method for determining the ability of metal materials to withstand bending plastic deformation. This standard is applicable to the bending test of samples specified in the relevant product standards of metal materials. However, it is not applicable to the bending test of metal pipes and metal welded joints, which are specified by other standards.
