Scope: This standard specifies the items, test content, test records and reports of inland waterway ship mooring and navigation tests. This standard is applicable to the tests of routine items of civil inland waterway ships newly built or significantly rebuilt (when applicable) powered by diesel engines. For the tests of engineering ships, hovercraft, hydrofoil craft and other special ships, special installations and equipment, and ships with a length less than 20m other than those specified in this standard, the test program can be prepared according to the provisions of this standard.
