- Scope
- This standard specifies the static test method for determining and evaluating the driver's visibility on the minimum rectangular dividing line surrounding the machine at a distance of 1m and on the visibility test circle of 12m. This standard applies to earth-moving machinery listed in Table 1 and defined in GB/T 8498 with a specific sitting posture driver's position. For machines not listed in Table 1, including large machines, derived earth-moving machines and other types of earth-moving machines, this visibility test procedure may be used, see 10.4. This standard applies to earth-moving machinery operating on construction sites and traveling on roads. This standard specifies the performance rules for the visibility of various machines to achieve the maximum working quality (see GB/T 21154) according to the type of machine family (see Table 1).
