Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the driver's injury caused by the steering mechanism of the automobile during a frontal collision. This standard applies to M₁ category vehicles and N₁ vehicles with a maximum gross mass of less than 1 500kg. Other vehicles can be tested with reference to this standard.
