Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage, and safety of ordinary diesel oil. This standard applies to tractors, diesel locomotives, construction machinery, ships and generator sets and other compression ignition engines, as well as the three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks specified in GB 19756, which are made from petroleum or ordinary diesel oil with additives.
