Scope: This standard specifies the terms, symbols, basic tooth types and dimensions of tapered threads and cylindrical pipe threads for gas cylinders. This standard applies to the conical thread connecting the mouth of the gas cylinder to the bottle valve, and the cylindrical pipe thread connecting the bottle cap to the neck ring (hereinafter referred to as cylindrical thread). The conical thread connecting the fusible plug and the plug seat of the gas cylinder with safety device can also refer to this standard.
