Scope
This part of GB/T 26218 gives the guidelines and principles for judging the general characteristics of specific insulators in certain polluted environments. This Part applies to the selection and dimensioning of composite insulators for high-voltage AC systems under polluted conditions. The content of this part is based on the CIGRE33.13TF01[1][2] document, and researchers who want to study the performance of insulators under polluted conditions can use this document as a useful supplement. This section does not involve the impact of ice and snow on polluted insulators. Although CIGRE[3] has done some research on this, the existing data are scarce and the experience varies greatly. The purpose of this part is to: - determine the reference unified creepage specific distance (RUSCD) by site pollution degree (SPS); - select the appropriate umbrella shape; , installation position and other corrections.
