Scope

This standard specifies the general test method for the determination of the mass percentage of pigment samples soluble in boiling water. This standard refers to the adoption of ISO787/3-1979 "General test methods for pigments and extenders - Part 3: Determination of water-soluble substances - Thermal extraction method".
