Scope

This part of GB/T 16507 specifies the general technical requirements for water tube boiler materials, structural design, strength calculation of pressure components, manufacturing, inspection, testing and acceptance, safety accessories and instruments, installation, etc. This section applies to fixed water tube boilers in the following ranges: a) steam boilers with rated steam pressure ≥ 0.1 MPa; b) hot water boilers with rated water outlet pressure ≥ 0.1 MPa or rated thermal power ≥ 0.1 MW; ) Heat utilization is the main purpose of flue type or flue and tube shell combined waste heat boiler. This section does not apply to water tube boilers in the following ranges: a) portable water tube boilers; b) cooling devices to meet the cooling needs of equipment and process flow.
