Scope

This standard proposes two test methods for evaluating the use of electrical insulating materials under severe environmental conditions by measuring resistance to tracking and corrosion at power frequencies (45 Hz to 65 Hz) using liquid pollutants and inclined plane samples. Method 1: constant tracking voltage method; method 2: step-by-step tracking voltage method.
