GB/T 11026.7-2014 Electrical insulating materials.Thermal endurance properties.Part 7: Determination of relative thermal endurance index (RTE) of insulating material (English Version)
This part of GB/T 11026 proposes the test and calculation procedures for obtaining the relative heat resistance index of materials. The test data used in this process are obtained according to GB/T 11026.1 and IEC 60216-2. These calculation procedures are supplementary to the calculation procedures in IEC 60216-3. This section also gives an assessment of thermal aging at a single fixed time and temperature without extrapolation. In principle, destructive, non-destructive and verification tests can be used to obtain test data, but destructive tests have been more widely used. Data obtained from non-destructive or verification tests may be incomplete because the measurement of the time to endpoint may have stopped at some point after the median time before all specimens have reached the endpoint. According to the thermal aging performance, this section gives the preliminary assignment of thermal classification of insulating materials. When thermal stress is the main factor of aging, the calculation procedures in this section are also suitable for determining the thermal classification of electrical insulation systems.
