Scope
This part of GB/T 11026 presents the experimental and calculation procedures for deriving the heat resistance, temperature index (TI) and relative heat resistance index (RTE) of insulating materials using the fixed time-limit method (FTFM). According to FTFM, the aging process will take place in a small number of fixed time periods, using the appropriate aging temperature point each time, and measuring the performance of the sample at the end of the corresponding time period. This method is different from the procedures in GB/T 11026.1. The aging process of GB/T 11026.1 will be completed at a few fixed temperatures, and the performance measurement will be carried out after the aging time according to the aging process. The diagnostic tests used in FTFM are limited to destructive tests. This method is not suitable for non-destructive or confirmatory testing. According to FTFM, the TI and RTE obtained from the test data in this section comply with GB/T 11026.1 and IEC 60216-2, and amended. The calculation procedures and statistical experiments are modified from the corresponding procedures in GB/T 11026.3 and IEC 60216-5.
