Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, order content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, signs and quality certificates of steel strands for prestressed concrete. This standard applies to steel strands for prestressed concrete structures twisted by cold-drawn round steel wires and scored steel wires (hereinafter referred to as steel strands).
